Fondazione Gabriele e Anna Braglia

The Foundation was born from Gabriele and Anna Braglia’s desire to maintain the integrity of their art collection.

A museum's space open to the public for cultural and educational purposes

The Fondazione Gabriele e Anna Braglia was established in June 2014 in Lugano, Switzerland, and is dedicated to cultural and educational art. It was created to organize, support and promote art exhibitions, conferences and other cultural activities related to modern and contemporary art in Switzerland and internationally.

With the establishment of the Foundation, Gabriele and Anna have fulfilled their desire to maintain the integrity of their art collection over time sharing their works of art with a wider audience.

The Braglia Collection

The Collection of Gabriele and Anna Braglia prides itself on including over two hundred and fifty works of art by both Italian and international artists of great interest.

Beginning in the 1990s, Gabriele and Anna approached German Expressionism. This significant core of the collection provides a unique overview of its kind in Ticino on the development of new art forms at the beginning of the twentieth century.
